Happy Wednesday everyone. I hope your week has been a great one so far.
It has been a real winter so far here in New England. Bittersweet for me.
I think it is beautiful when it snows, just not when I need to work as most of my job is on the road driving and I have seen my fair share of mangled cars along my drives due to road conditions.
Just a small bit of snow…more arriving as I speak…err type.
Yesterday was pretty good. Clear roads, sunny skies, relatively warm.
Today will be nothing like it.
The day of daily eats was pretty good too.
Breakfast…same as each day, just maybe a different protein shake added.
This is one of my absolute faves…
GNC Lean shake Pumpkin! MMMMMM
Then I hit the road.
I knew I was going to be working in an area that I could swing through one of my fave spots….
To grab my lunch.
I have been wanting to try these since I got the email on them:
Bacon & Gruyere
They are REALLY good! The link above brings you to the page with NI on the Starbucks website….not an affiliate link, just sharing.
Well what is a drive through Starbucks and not get something to drink.
A hot Steamer made with SF vanilla and skim. Hits the spot all warm and frothy….30 minutes after I am done eating for those who follow the 30/30/30 rule…as I do.
I got home a bit late so dinner was going to be late.
That is ok a quick appetizer plate to share with kiddos as dinner is cooking….
Dinner was really good. In fact it is a hot in our house.
Trish’s Italian Meatloaf, cauliflower mash and steamed kale.
I LOVE these meatloaves. So much flavor. I make them in this pan so they are in individual servings and I can easily make ahead meals for us.
Want to see more? Go check out the WIAW link up over at Peas and Crayons. Such great inspiration to try new things there.
My life is on the stressful side right now. I am very thankful for those in my life and my faith though, without them I would be a complete wreck. I am leaning on this scripture currently to help my mental outlook:
He is guarding the lives of his loyal ones;
he rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
Is there something that helps you get through the stressful times?
